Description
Small tree. Leaves opposite with interpetiolare stipule that drops early, leaving a ringlike scar around the twig. Flowers in terminal, branched inflorescences. Flowers with bright orange petal lobes, but the long corolla tube remains green. Each flower subtended by one enlarged bright white calyx lobe the size of a normal leaf.
