Climber with red sap. Leaves alternate, simple, with very long petioles, leaf blade peltate, heart-shaped, whitish on lower surface with contrasting brownish venetion.
Stipules absent. Inflorescences branched at apex of long inflorescence stalk, placed in leaf axils. Fruits drupes.
Ecology
Thickets, forests, limestone ledges and boulders, altitude 1300-2000m.
