Cinnamomum fouilloyi Kosterm., Reinwardtia 10 (1988)
Named after R. Fouilloy, a French botanist.
Note
Very similar to Cinnamomum javanicum and perhaps a synonym of this species.
Description
Sub-canopy tree up to 23 m tall and 31 cm dbh. Stipules absent. Leaves
opposite, simple, tripli-veined, hairy. Flowers not seen. Fruits not seen.
Ecology
In undisturbed mixed dipterocarp forests up to 100 m altitude. Found on
sandy soils. In secondary forests usually present as a pre-disturbance remnant
tree.

Borneo (East-Kalimantan).
