Latin for 'enwrapped'.
Description
Understorey tree up to 13 m tall and 8 cm dbh. Stipules absent. Leaves
opposite, simple, penni-veined, glabrous, margin entire to slightly toothed.
Flowers ca. 3 mm diameter, white, placed in panicles on the stem. Fruits ca. 4
mm diameter, red, drupes.
Ecology
In regrowth forests and open sites in mixed dipterocarp and sub-montane
forests up to 1200 m altitude.
Distribution
Borneo (Sabah, South- and East-Kalimantan).
