Description
Upper canopy tree up to 46 m tall and 114 cm dbh. Stem with white sap.
Stipules ca. 5 mm long. Leaves alternate, simple, penni-veined, glabrous.
Flowers ca. 9 mm diameter, white-yellow, placed in axillary bundles. Fruits ca.
25 mm long, green, drupes.
Ecology
In undisturbed mixed dipterocarp and sub-montane forests up to 1700 m
altitude. On hillsides and ridges. Also found on limestone. In secondary forests
usually present as a pre-disturbance remnant.

Borneo (throughout the island).
