Latin for 'widely spaced flowers'.
Description
Mid-canopy tree up to 31 m tall and 51 cm dbh. Stipules small. Leaves
alternate, simple, tripli-veined, usually glabrous, whitish below. Flowers ca. 7
mm diameter, white-yellow, placed in panicles. Fruits ca. 14 mm diameter, green,
winged nuts.
Ecology
In undisturbed to slightly disturbed (open sites) mixed dipterocarp forests
up to 500 m altitude. Usually on alluvial sites and hillsides. In secondary
forests usually present as a pre-disturbance remnant.
Uses
The wood is used.

Borneo (Sarawak, Brunei, Sabah, East-Kalimantan).
